Membership

Any person may be a member of the Corporation if such person (i) expresses an interest in the purposes of the Council and in membership; and (ii) provides professional services in or to the exempt organization community.

Potential members must complete the following basic membership application establishing their qualifications. Each member will continue to qualify for membership so long as the member meets the qualifications and affirms membership in writing to the Membership Chair in a manner determined by the Board of Directors from time to time.

Members are not required to pay dues.

Council Member - Free Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Members include attorneys, CPAs and accountants, and other practitioners in the exempt organizations industry who (i) express an interest in the purposes of the Council and in membership, and (ii) provide significant professional services in or to the exempt organization community (including professionals who work within an exempt organization).

Government Council Member - Free Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments State and federal employees, officials, and regulators, including IRS and Treasury staff, and related agencies, are eligible for Council membership if they spend time related to matters involved the exempt organization community and express an interest in supporting the purposes of the Council as a member. Membership is not required to attend Council programs free of charge.
